When Zeus cheated on Hera with a woman named Alcmene, Hera became extremely furious. She made Zeus swore an oath infront of the gods that the descendants of Perseus would become a great ruler and rule everything around him. Zeus agreed and did what his wife wanted. Hera descended from Olympus and made the wife of Sthenelus, a descendant of Perseus, pregnant.

When Alcmene was about to give birth to Heracles, Hera sent her daughter Eileithyia to prevent her from giving birth to Heracles while Hera cause the pregnant wife of Sthenelus gave birth to the immature infant, Eurystheus causing the fullfillment of Zeus' oath.

Eileithyia was tricked by one of Alcmene's maiden. The maiden claimed that Heracles was already born and praised Zeus. Eileithyia believed it and left. Hera was furious at the maiden and she turned her into a weasel. Hera sent the Graea Witches to prevent Heracles' birth but unfortunately they failed to fullfill Hera's wish. Therefore Heracles was born.

When Heracles was 8 months old, he was abadoned by Alcmene. Athena picked him up and brought him to Hera and ask Hera to breastfeed him and she agreed. Hera was not aware that the child is Heracles himself. So while Heracles was suckling Hera's breast he suddenly bit her breast. Hera screamed in pain and she threw the infant Heracles. From her milk breast, the Milky Ways was formed and Heracles receive a great amount of strength after suckling Hera's breast. Then Athena, returned him to Alcmene.

When Heracles grew up, he married Megara and had two childrens with him. But one day while he was praying, Hera suddenly struck him with madness and cause him to kill his wife Megara and their two childrens.

After he was healed from the madness struck by his stepmother, he became extremely sad and wanted to ask for forgiveness. He went to Delphi to seek The Oracle of Delphi. The Oracle told him to serve King Eurystheus in order to gain forgiveness from the gods.

He soon went to Eurystheus' kingdom to serve him. Before Heracles could reach to his Eurystheus' kingdom, Hera appeared before Eurystheus. She told him that they will be a man who is the son of Zeus and Alcmene by the name Heracles. Hera told Eurystheus to give him the 12 Labours of Heracles.

Hera attempted to make each of the labours harder and even more impossible for Heracles. He eventually succeeded all the 12 labours. Hera and Eurystheus admitted defeat to him.
